Miri Urman - The Motion of Body & Pictures

Hi, I'm Miri urman - a Yoga teacher, Ilan Lev method (ILM) practitioner, and a filmmaker.
For over 20 years, I lived and breathed the tv and film industry. I directed promos, prime-time shows, and created independent documentaries with my partner, Amit Miller.
During those years, I spent most of my days in a chair in front of a computer - creating movement on the screen, while my own body remained static.
In parallel with the intensive work and raising a family, Yoga was always my anchor.
During the Covid lockdowns, I knew it was time for a change. I shifted my focus to movement and healing, completing advanced Yoga teacher training and certifying as an ILM therapist.

Discovering a therapeutic method where you, the therapist, move and transmit the vibration into the patient's body, was life-changing for me. As a patient, it was the most powerful healing I have ever experienced - occurring beyond the intellect, deep within the cells.
I instantly saw how this aligns with Neera Yorav's "Sattva Yoga", which is deeply ingrained in me. Ultimately, both offer an experience of pure presence, pleasure and connection to a deep internal wisdom.
Later, my partner Amit Miller and I finished our documentary "It's a Wrap" , and traveled with it across
Israel and around the world.
That journey eventually brought me to a women's film festival in India.

There, in India, I immersed myself even deeper into Yoga and Yoga therapy, connecting with teachers for life.

This connection sparked a wonderful new chapter: leading Women's Yoga Journeys to India twice a year, dedicated for shared transformation and deepening in Yoga, and also gaining tools to live more balanced life. All this, while exploring the vibrant nature, amazing food, markets, culture and colors that India offers.
So twice a year I'm in India, deepening and passing on Yoga, and the rest of the year I'm here in Israel,
welcoming you to my clinic in Rehovot or to the Yoga mat:
ILM treatments - combining tools from the world of Yoga and Yoga therapy:
Personal therapy sessions to release blockages, balance anxieties, reduce stress and pain, and expand range of motion.
Meditative yoga classes - group, private classes and workshops inspired by Neera Yorav's "Sattva Yoga": An experiential, intuitive practice connected to the present moment.
Both as a Yoga teacher and a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space where body and mind regain their freedom, allowing natural healing to take place. To expand the flow of life force energy and reconnect with inner capability.
In filmmaking - Amit and I continue to travel across Israel with "It's a Wrap" for screenings and discussions, while working on a new documentary.
Feel free to explore the site to learn more about my films, practices, and treatments. For more questions and bookings, I'd love to hear from you.
Warmly,
